Dear Sir or Madam,

We would like to invite you to participate in the international Conference on remuneration justice. The Conference would take place on 18th – 19th October 2018 at the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Warsaw. The scope of the Conference would include summary of the results of empirical research carried out in parallel in Poland, Lithuania and Hungary, as well as conclusions drawn on their basis in the field of remuneration justice in the following areas:

  • management,
  • law and
  • communication.

The conference would have an interdisciplinary character which would allow the exchange of experiences and views among scientists from other fields of science. Its interdisciplinary character would create an opportunity to discuss the perception of the presented problem from different perspectives. Analysis and discussion carried out would allow verification and improvement of the research direction and further studies.

The aim of the Conference is to exchange views and ideas of scientists from Poland and Lithuania and Hungary, representing various disciplines of science. The initiative shall be an inspiration to undertake joint research projects as well as to create a platform for exchanging views and building interdisciplinary research teams.

The conference would be a great opportunity for a fruitful exchange of views and insights on the subject. It should be also an important impulse for inter-university deep cooperation, in particular its foreign aspects. The multitude of perspectives may translate into further research being more innovative.

The Conference would concern issues in the field of:

Legal ascpects:

  • Legal boundaries of the remuneration justice
  • Remuneration justice in the perception of minimum wage
  • Taxation of income from work in the perception of taxation justice

Management aspects:

  • Remuneration justice in new organizational models
  • Fair remuneration from the stakeholders’ perspective
  • Justice and corporate social responsibility
  • Contemporary dilemmas of the managerial staff – justice and leadership in the organization

Aspects of communication:

  • Media narratives about justice
  • Justice as a value communicated in social policy
  • Justice as a political argument

Organizational information

We would like to kindly invite to the participation in the Conference:

  • practitioners and researchers,
  • scientific employees,
  • PhD students, students and scientific circles,
  • company representatives,
  • representatives of the management;
  • people interested in the subject of the conference.

Participation in the conference is free of charge. The organizers do not cover the cost of accommodation and travels. Participants are recommend to use the MDM Hotel – offering discounts for conference participants.

 

The scheduled date of the conference: October 18-19, 2018.
Deadline for sending applications: 15/10/2018
Deadline for sending applications to discussion panels: 15/09/2018
Deadline for sending the proposals for papers: 15/09/2018
Deadline for sending article texts: 15/12/2018.

 

Conference participants will have the opportunity to present their scientific achievements in the form of a paper or to present them during organized discussion panels.  A presentation in the form of a presentation should not exceed 15 minutes. The presentation should be prepared in the Power Point program.
